Toddler Program – Busy Bees

The Busy Bee room is licensed for 14 children ages 16 months to 35 months. Our ratio is 1:7.

Toddlers love to learn and they know the world is an exciting place! There is a lot to see, do, and discover. At Kids Avenue, we use natural excitement and curiosity to make every day a great one! Kids Avenue welcomes this stage with open arms, lots of patience, and humor. Toddlers get a sense of security from routine. You will get a daily sheet on your child’s individual activities, as well as eating, naps, and diapering for the day.

During the year you will have two conferences. They will be scheduled in the fall and spring of each year.

6:30 – 8:00: Combined Toddlers – child’s choice
8 – 8:30: Breakfast/Books
8:30 – 9:30: Child Choice/Diapers/Clean-Up
9:30 – 9:45: Circle Time
9:45 – 10:15: Snack/Books
10:15 – 10:30: Art/Sensory
10:30 – 11:00: Small Group Work
11 – 11:30: Small Motor/Outside/Gym/Diapers
11:30 – 12:00: Lunch /Books
12:00 – 3:00: Nap/Diapers/Quiet Activities
3 – 3:30: Snack/Books
3:30 – 4:00: Art/Sensory
4:00 – 4:30: Closet Toys/Outside/Gym
4:30 – 5:30: Combined Toddlers – child’s choice
